On The Shelf Privacy Policy
On The Shelf is a watchlist management app available for iOS and tvOS. The app helps you collect and organize streaming content you want to watch.
Data Collection and Storage
On The Shelf stores the following information locally on your device:
- Your watchlist items (show and movie titles, streaming service links, and custom ordering)
- App preferences and settings
Cloud Sync
On The Shelf uses Apple's iCloud service to sync your watchlist between your iOS and tvOS devices. This synchronization is handled entirely by Apple's CloudKit framework, and no data is stored on servers controlled by Brave Location Services Ltd.
Your watchlist data is only accessible to you through your Apple ID and is subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.
Third-Party Content
When you add streaming content to your watchlist, the app stores links to third-party streaming services (such as Netflix, Disney+, Apple TV+, etc.). Each streaming service has its own privacy policy that governs your use of their content.
On The Shelf does not access, collect, or share any account information from these streaming services.
Analytics and Crash Reporting
The app also uses Firebase Crashlytics and Analytics to monitor any crashes within the app, as well as how many people are using the app. Please refer to Firebase's terms of service for details of the data captured.
